Reset Day 

As part of our Reset Day, a group of parents are providing a breakfast to help our teachers and staff pause, refuel, and reset alongside our students. This day is about wellness, connection, and care. Thank you for helping us create a calm and supportive start to the day. End of Semester One Schedule

Please review the information below concerning the end of the semester. 

Tuesday, January 20 (Green)- Regular Classes Block 1 and 2/Summative Assessments Blocks 3 and 4

               Buses follow their normal schedule.

               We will use a No Flex Schedule.

Wednesday, January 21 (White)- Regular Classes Block 1 and 2/Summative Assessments Blocks 3 and 4

               Buses follow their normal schedule.

               We will use a No Flex Schedule.

Thursday, January 22 (Green)- Summative Assessments Blocks 1 and 2/Half Day Dismissal

               The morning bus run is at its normal time; the end of the day run is at 11:45 am.

Students are only in the building after 11:45 am for make-up and reassessment.

Lunch will be served.

B1: 7:50 - 9:30

B2: 9:50 -11:30

Lunch 11:30- 11:45

Friday, January 23 (White)- Summative Assessments Blocks 1 and 2/Half Day Dismissal

               The morning bus run is at its normal time; the end of the day run is at 11:45 am.

               Students are only in the building after 11:45 am for make-up and reassessment.

               Lunch will be served.

B1: 7:50 - 9:30 (Morning Duty runs until 7:43 am)

B2: 9:50 -11:30

Monday, January 26- Reassessment

               Buses follow their normal schedule.

               Students are only in the building after 11:45 am for make-up and reassessment.

               Lunch will be served.

Tuesday, January 27- Reset Day

               Buses will follow their regular schedule.

Wednesday, January 28 (Green)- First Day of Second Semester

               We will have an abbreviated advisory from 7:40 am to 7:50 am to distribute Second Semester schedules. We will also have advisory at its regular time Wednesday, January 28th through Friday, January 30th.

Some important items to review concerning summative assessments.

1.            If a class meets every day, the summative will be on the first day. Students do not need to attend on the second day.

2.            Students do not need to be here if they have a study hall on Thursday, January 22nd or Friday, January 23rd. All study halls on those two days will be run in the Town Square. If a student is in the building during their assigned study hall, they need to be in the Town Square. Study halls will run as scheduled on Tuesday, January 20th and Wednesday, January 21st.

3.            Students are only to be in the building Thursday and Friday afternoon for a make-up or reassessment. They are to be in a room with their teacher.

4.            On Monday, January 26th, students are only in the building if they must make up an assessment or reassess. They are to be in a room with their teacher.

5.            Reset Day is a regularly scheduled school day that students are expected to attend.

 

Graduation Date

Graduation for the Class of 2026 will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 7:00 pm at the Whittemore Center on the campus of the University of New Hampshire. More information will be shared with seniors and families as we approach the date.

Application Process for CTE Programs

The window for applying for Career Technical Education programs has opened. Please see the attachment for directions on how to apply. Students must apply every year even if they are already in a program.

Baseball Clinics

Dover High Baseball Winter Training is a 5-week offseason program designed to help players stay sharp and prepare for the upcoming season. Sessions will focus on skills, conditioning, and baseball fundamentals. The program runs Mondays 3:30pm-4:45pm for 5 weeks beginning January 19. Cost is $100 per player.
