Parking

Students have been parking in the parking lot of the medical building at 15 Durham Road. This is a private parking lot. They have reached out to us and asked us to inform students and families that they will begin towing vehicles on Monday, March 9th. Please be respectful of the areas around Dover High School.

National Art Honor Society

The National Art Honor Society is hosting an art show at the Woodman Museum on March 5th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm to showcase young local artists and their artwork.

Teacher Workshop Day

Friday, March 13th will be a teacher workshop day. There is no school for students that day.

Freshman Free Book Program

As part of a teacher-driven grant funded through Dover's SEED program, we are offering every freshman a free book!

To help them make a choice that is right for them, students have done the following:

visited the Dover High School Library for an orientation activity, explored genres, and have done other activities with their English teachers to help connect them with books that they will enjoy

In the next few weeks, your freshman student will have a brief homework assignment in which they will record their top 3 book choices.

We are excited to have your students share their book choices with you.

Please ask your student about the books they have selected as their first, second and third choices and complete the Parent/Guardian notification at the end of the form.

Destination College

Are you starting to think about plans after high school? Destination College, hosted by Granite Edvance, is a free event for New Hampshire juniors and their families to explore college and career options. It will be held on Saturday, March 28, at Plymouth State University.

Students and families can:

  • Attend sessions on the college admission process, financial aid and scholarships, choosing a major, and more

  • Meet representatives from 60+ colleges and universities

  • Ask questions and begin building a clear post-high school plan
