Welcome to the DHS School Counseling Office

The mission of the DHS School Counseling Department is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program. Our goal is to promote personal/social growth, academic achievement, and career/college readiness for 21st-century learners. In partnership with parents, teachers, administration, and the community, the school counselor provides support for student growth and advocates for equity, access, and success for every student.

On Going 4-year plan - All 9th graders need to schedule an appointment with their school counselor to complete their 4-year academic planner
March  26th  The DHS Annual College Fair will take place on Thursday, March 26th during block 4 in the Aux gym.
April 6th 
The ASVAB exam will take place on Tuesday, April 7th at 8am in room 115. The ASVAB is a great way to learn about different careers and areas of strength that can help you prepare for these careers. 
Please sign up for the ASVAB exam in the counseling office.
