Welcome to the DHS School Counseling Office

The mission of the DHS School Counseling Department is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program. Our goal is to promote personal/social growth, academic achievement, and career/college readiness for 21st-century learners. In partnership with parents, teachers, administration, and the community, the school counselor provides support for student growth and advocates for equity, access, and success for every student.

 On-going College Visits - please sign-up in the School Counseling Office
Oct. 7th
Granite Edvance Financial Aid: October 7th at 10:00 am in the DHS Auditorium for all seniors
Oct 7th  College 101: October 7th at 6:00pm in the DHS Auditorium. An overview of the college application and financial aid process for students and parents/guardians.
Oct 16th PSAT: Deadline to sign up: Friday, October 3th  by 2:30pm (hard deadline, no exceptions) Cost $25
Oct 29th Discover UNH: UNH has invited DHS Juniors and Seniors with a GPA of 2.8 or higher to attend a Discover UNH day on Wednesday, October 29th! Sign-up by 10/6.
Oct 29th ASVAB: October 29, 2025, at 8 am in room 115. Aptitude test and interest assessment administered by the military. Sign up in the Counseling Office.
